The panel will focus on the role of cities in the climate agenda, bringing together experts, public-sector leaders, and representatives from the financial and insurance markets. The objective is to promote knowledge exchange and encourage the development of innovative solutions to reduce urban vulnerabilities and strengthen resilience to extreme climate events.


Key discussion topics include the implementation of public policies for prevention and adaptation, the role of insurers and financial institutions in mobilizing investments for urban resilience, and the adoption of sustainable practices such as water reuse, smart drainage systems, and circular-economy models.
