Transformação Energética do Brasil: Colaborando com a elaboração do PLANTE

Thematic axes
1 - Transitioning Energy, Industry, and Transport

The Brazil’s Energy Transformation project supports the Ministry of Mines and Energy in developing the National Energy Transition Plan (PLANTE) by combining technical analysis, dialogue with various sectors of society, and concrete action proposals across five key areas: industry, transport, oil and gas, the electricity sector, and mining. The studies examine socioeconomic and regulatory aspects of each sector, drawing on evidence and best practices from both national and international contexts.

The methodology includes data analysis, interviews, workshops, and participation in events. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, the project will provide qualified technical information to guide public policies, promoting the use of renewable energy, reducing emissions, and ensuring a just, inclusive energy transition aligned with Brazil’s climate agenda.
