This session, organized in collaboration with the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership during the Global Innovation Summit, explores how transnational R&I funding can be strategically directed toward integrated digital solutions for urban transitions - such as smart energy grids and smart mobility flows. Participants will discuss how public R&I funding is helping to bridge the gap between digital solutions prototyping and full-scale urban deployment. Participants will explore the complex R&I funding landscape advancing these solutions, with a focus on the mechanism of MI Calls in Europe and globally.
